30-minute pasta with a big guilt-free quick tip, upcoming LIVE pasta cook-along! risotto tips from Giulia, my new favorite olive oil cookie, and moooooore!
I can relate to wanting to eat everything while traveling, lol! You just don’t know when you’ll be in a place again, so it’s hard not to just go for it all. 😂
haha! You get what happened to me!! I honestly didn't realize how much I missed it. I could not stop eating and lost all self-control with my ordering too much off the menu!
You need to try that Marcella sauce with the butter. It’s wildly good and it is so simple to make that even my non-cooking wife and kitchen-phobic daughter have embraced it as one of the things they can cook. It edges subtly closer to a tomato cream sauce, but…not! It’s just really mild and gentle like a hug! Not a replacement for your (or my) normal sugo, but a lovely change of pace.
You knew just how to convince me! How could I say no to a food hug. I will try it this week with the open jar of passata I need to use of in my fridge 🥫
I’ve only ever made it with whole canned toms and then puréed them but passata must work!
I’d say….una coccola in una ciotola…if it’s a said thing!
Many many many years ago at Casalinga in Florence I was served a bowl of ravioli in sugo with a giant pat of butter melting in it. It was such an unexpected treat!
Love this! Reminds me of the grilled baby artichoke sandwich with calabrian chiles and sharp provolone I adapted from hit NYC eatery Misipasta for easy home cooking!
See you two for class from SoCal—9am!
Oh fantastic! So happy you’ll be there Therese! 😍
This sounds delicious and reminds me of a pasta and ricotta sauce I made on a Sicilian farm almost a year ago. So sorry I missed the class!
The class is this Sunday at 9:00 pst if you can make it!! 😍
Oh my mistake! I’ll try!🤗
Hope you can, Ruth! 🤗

Thank you for understanding, Betty!! I feel slightly less gluttonous 😂
Oh we are having this for dinner next week. Thanks! I can’t wait to try it.
Yippee!! I hope you love it like I do, Amanda’ let me know how it goes! 💚
And thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
I love the post you wrote. I really feel it's important to encourage buying made in italy products as souvineers! Your list was top!
Last time I went to London I ate so. Much. Indian food!!! And I don’t regret it!!! I really miss international cuisine and Indian food in naples.

I like it a little too much. Have you lost all respect for me?
I’ve gained it! 👏👏👏

I could eat this garlicky artichoke pasta everyday. A perfect meal!
Super post.
I could too Sheryl! It’s so good! Are you also a garlic fan?
Haven’t met a clove I didn’t love 😉
hee hee! Oh it would be so fun to cook together. My partner and son aren't that into garlic and prefer I leave it out!!
I know many people that aren’t crazy about garlic. I love it.
Mmm that artichoke pasta looks tasty.
